Free Flowing Rivers Environmental Society (FFR) is a non-profit
organization established in 2006 to raise awareness of the value of
our rivers as natural systems.

This race is a fundraising event before we take on our next expedition
across North and South America. Our expedition will take us to many
countries, to many rivers and to 100s of universities across the
continents. While on the road we will develop outdoor community
programs for the youth and more university rafting races.

On September 19th to 21st

FFR and ESPRIT Rafting are hosting
Our 1st DAM U River Rafting Race on the Ottawa River

We need at least 3, maximum 5 teams from Ottawa University

Teams of 8 students

space limited to 15 teams

this years DAM U Ottawa River Race is the first smaller race
so next year when we are coming back from South America
we will host a larger one.

We have already held three successful rafting races: two on the
Thompson River near Vancouver, BC and one on the Papagayo River
near
Mexico City.

At the moment or web page Freeflowingrivers.org is focusing on:

DAM U3 on the Thompson River race.
Our main fundraising event,  40 teams are expected from all over BC to
come together and celebrate Free Flowing Rivers.

The Ottawa River its a good example for the rest of the continent to
show how dammed rivers should be part of recreational and educational
events like these University rafting races.

This email flows your way to motivate you, or to help us motivate
others to come to the university rafting race.

Thanks for the support
